  • NASBA and AICPA Approve Revisions to CPE Provider Standards

    January 25, 2012
    The Boards of Directors for both the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) have announced final approval of the proposed revisions to the Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs, the framework for the development, presentation, measurement and reporting of CPE programs.
  • Annual CPE Minimum Now in Effect

    January 5, 2012
    Starting with the new triennial reporting period (2012-2014), New Jersey CPAs must complete a minimum of 20 hours of continuing professional education in each year of the triennial period.
  • Final Yellow Book Issued

    January 3, 2012
    The U.S. Government Accountability Office has issued the final 2011 Revision to Government Auditing Standards (a.k.a. the Yellow Book).
